Benching Workstations for Teams
Working as a team is great. Sharing the same frame, the same wiring and the same daylight is even better, for your floor space as much as your budget.
Our benching workstations bring together 2, 4 or more people, side by side or face to face: sit-stand with Milton and Pareto, or one large shared table with Dupont.
Solid wood or laminate, felt or planter dividers: everything is made to order in our Montreal workshop. Hallway conversations, on the other hand, remain free of charge.
For designers and architects
An open-plan floor to lay out, workstations to line up along a single top, a set palette? Our Montreal workshop builds custom benching: custom lengths, solid wood, veneer, laminate, Corian or Dekton tops, metal bases welded in-house and RAL colours. For seating, we have access to the Pedrali and Resol collections. 3D files and samples are available on request. Designers and architects get trade discounts: open an account to access them. In short, your floor plan has the final say.
Planning an office fit-out?
Our team works with you from floor plan to delivery: number of workstations, layout, finishes and dividers, with business pricing. Delivery in Quebec and Ontario. For the rest of the space, see our office furniture.
Benching or individual desks?
Benching shares one frame and the wiring: it's more compact and costs less per workstation. Individual desks are easier to move when the team changes, which it always does. Either way, allow about 60 in. of width per person and at least 42 in. of clearance behind the chairs.
Workstations made in Montreal
The Milton, Pareto and Dupont benching systems are made to order in our workshop, in solid white oak, walnut, yellow birch or laminate. Milton and Pareto are sit-stand, with a felt divider for privacy or a planter divider for a bit of green; only their electric base comes from a specialized supplier. Dupont is a large shared work table, 120 or 144 in. long.
Frequently asked questions
How many people per benching workstation?
Milton and Pareto come in 2- and 4-person versions, and Dupont in 120 or 144 in. For a larger team, we combine several units or build a custom length.
Can benching workstations be powered?
Yes. We plan cable routing and power for each workstation based on your layout. Let us know how many outlets and monitor arms you need when you request a quote.
What does a desk divider do?
A felt divider reduces visual distractions and some of the noise between two facing workstations. A planter divider adds a bit of green, and one more topic of conversation.
