Originally designed to accompany the table of the same name, the Cournot bench complements the collection that bears its name.
Since the beginning of DE GASPÉ, the Cournot collection has been an integral part of our product line. The initial goal was to put our imprint on models reminiscent of mid-century Scandinavian furniture, updating them with contemporary methods and local materials.
Made entirely of solid wood, the models of the Cournot collection combine the exceptional quality of the material with proven design, thus justifying their relevance over time. While daring to be different from what is usually seen in North American dining rooms, these pieces embody a unique fusion of tradition and modernity.
Choose the Cournot bench for a perfect harmony with the eponymous collection. Crafted in Canada and available in walnut, white oak, or yellow birch, this bench reflects the aesthetics of Scandinavian design while embodying our commitment to the quality of solid wood and local craftsmanship.
To find the size of bench that fits with your Cournot table, the rule is to subtract 16" for tables 72" and less or 18" for tables 84" and more. Example: Table 84" = Bench 66".

Entretien
As the finishing products we use are among the best in the world, no special maintenance is necessary for your furniture. Simply clean it with water and mild soap and avoid the use of harmful products such as ammonia.
During the first months, the wood naturally changes color. We therefore recommend either leaving the surfaces free or moving static objects from time to time so that the color change, however minor, is as uniform as possible.
