The Cournot collection has been part of our product line since the beginnings of DE GASPÉ. The objective behind this collection was to create, in our own way, models reminiscent of mid-century Scandinavian furniture but with current methods and materials from here.
Made entirely of solid wood, the models have the assurance of a design that has long justified its raison d'être while having the audacity to be different from what is usually seen in the North American dining rooms.
To find the size of bench that fits with your Cournot table, the rule is to subtract 16" for tables 72" and less or 18" for tables 84" and more. Example: Table 84" = Bench 66".

Entretien
As the finishing products we use are among the best in the world, no special maintenance is necessary for your furniture. Simply clean it with water and mild soap and avoid the use of harmful products such as ammonia.
During the first week, we recommend to be extra careful with liquids as the finishing might not be 100% solidified.
During the first months, the wood naturally changes color. We therefore recommend either leaving the surfaces free or moving static objects from time to time so that the color change, however minor, is as uniform as possible.
